His American twang often confuses people when they first ask where he’s from. Born and raised in the small town of Bolnisi in the Republic of Georgia, Shota Adamashvili never thought he’d become a country musician one day. But watching the movie The Electric Horseman changed his life forever. Its soundtrack My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys sparked his dream of becoming a traveling singer-songwriter.
Shota pursues his craft with a passion and single-minded dedication that captivates his audiences and has earned him a loyal fanbase in various countries. He has experience playing small, intimate spaces as well as large international festival stages and every type of venue in between. No matter the setting, Shota’s wide-ranging repertoire and vibrant presence always entertain, leaving the audience wanting more.
